As if the anticipation for the Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI wasn’t enough, luxury car maker Audi decided it would give a small taste to wet the appetites of autophiles everywhere by releasing some teaser shots of this long awaitied platform.  From what is displayed so far, it seems that the R8 V10 is living up to people’s expectations.  From the posh yet sporty interior to its stylish frame and impressive performance, it seems that 2009 is just too far away for those who want to take the R8 V10 for a spin.

Germany will be the first place for the Audi R8 to mark its territory, which is projected to go as high as 140,000 Euros.  As the next iteration of Audi’s flagship model, the R8 has everything one would expect from a top-of-the-line luxury sports car.  With the design concept inspired by the company’s string Le Mans victories, the R8 V10 easily lives up to the company’s motto of Vorsprung durch Technik or “Advancement through Technology,” with lightweight material making up the body, all-LED headlights and other impressive bells and whistles.

Simply looking at the gorgeous interior is enough to justify the hype as well as the price tag.  While clearly going for a race car look (as one can deduce from the wide arc found around the steering wheel and front seat), Audi does not forget to add its trademark of elegance.  The dash is covered in high quality leather with a variety of color schemes and finishes to choose from.  The cabin is spacious enough to provide that high class comfort, along with other features such amenities like heated seating covered in Nappa leather, with a little bit of alumunum finishes for the pedals, gear knobs and the like.

Finally, the R8 V10 features some of Audi’s most recent technological advancements in safety and driving comfort.  With the Audi parking system, integrated rearview camera, automatic air conditioning, alarm systems as well as state-of-the-art driver information, navigational and sound systems.

Given all that information, one can be sure that all eyes will be on Audi once more details and the eventual release of the R8 V10 is made.
