Sometimes, keeping things simple is the way to go.  Often times, doing even the simple things perfectly spells success.  So sure, the 2010 Ford Taurus, Ford’s new flagship sedan, doesn’t look anything extraordinary, it’s simplicity is done in a way that it just works.

That’s not to say however that the Taurus isn’t fancy.  It has all the technological offerings that you’d find in any modern vehicle, but not to the point that it’s almost as high brow as luxury cars.  The interior is anything but mundane, but doesn’t really go overboard like some other concepts by other manufacturers.

Everything seems to be seamlessly in place, center stack with all the necessities and comfort accessories like climate control, audio and on-board navigation.  Seats have that sedan feel - comfort without looking drab.  Dash seems to be LED, so there’s a bit of tech savvy in that department.  The doors, while generic looking, are deceptive, at least in texture. A nice touch is the hand-crafted look the Taurus interior is sporting, giving it a more human touch.

The 2010 Taurus is slated for a summer release this year, and is at the similar price category of the 2009 model, roughly around $25k.
