The BMW Z series is probably one of the most recognizable product line from the German automaker and perhaps the most favored by sports car enthusiast.  With several of the illustrious Z-lineup making it to several movies throughout the years (Even making it to a James Bond one), it’s no surprise that critics and fans alike are more than happy to get details on the new 2009 BMW Z4, which has gotten quite styling overhaul over the 2008 version.

Obviously, the body of the 2009 Z4 is a far cry from the appearance of the 2008 sibling, both in exterior and interior upgrades are easily evident, and seems geared toward improving upon the complaints against the 2008 version of this BMW convertible.

So far, what is known is that the 2009 Z4 will be packing the second-generation iDrive system, Dynamic Drive control, better visibility, more room in the trunk thanks to a more contemporary approach in hard top storage, and light-reflective leathers. Aesthetically, BMW has done it again, bringing in a more sophisticated ambiance without losing out on the sportiness.  The balance between curves and angles provide an edgy yet classy feel to the Z4.

While the size difference is also glaring, having a bigger convertible may be worth it considering the upgrades on both the exterior and interior.  Rest assured, people will definitely be looking out for the 2009 Z4’s official release in the summer of 2009.
